Car stickers and magnets for a local Facebook Group. This was a pro bono job for my community, which is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The group is a major binding force in our community; a place where folks can keep others apprised of quickly developing situations (road closures, landslides, floods, fire), warn others of criminal behavior (stolen mail, siphoned gas, break-ins) and ask for help and advice when needed.
The stickers & magnets are a way of identifying others in the group (new members are vetted, there's a zero tolerance policy for profanity, politics, religious talk, and general bad behavior) so that we can feel safer about stopping to help stranded motorists on our lonely back roads, or just identify our neighbors in town who we may chat with online.
All proceeds for the sale of the stickers and magnets are donated to our local food pantry, Valley Churches United Mission.
