Stakeholder Deliverable: (undisclosed client)
"Ken and Maggie Buy A House" was done as a communique in 1996, explaining the special project the team was working on to the whole company. The comic book format was used to convey the easy and fun nature of the idea. I was given an outline and drew all the images by hand, then scanned them and digitally manipulated/edited them. I designed and produced the layout and entered the text, which was written by the team. Many changes were made over the course of the iterations, and once finalized the book was printed as well as being converted into a MS Powerpoint document for onscreen viewing. The entire book was done in color but had to be easily legible when printed in b&w -- the example here was scanned from a b&w print and I added the original color TIFs that I still had in my archives. Please note this was done in 1996, prior to the housing market collapse and way before most people even had cellphones much less did their banking online.
